UIndy formally inaugurated its ninth president, Robert L. Manuel, on Thursday, March 21. Guests included Richard Lugar, William Hudnut and four previous UIndy presidents. Governor Mike Pence proclaimed Thursday "University of Indianapolis Day" in the state, and Mayor Greg Ballard proclaimed it "Dr. Robert Manuel Day" in Indianapolis.
