    Join us as we congratulate the newest UIndy alumni on May 2, at 11 a.m. in Key Stadium. More than 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students will have completed their programs in December 2014 or May 2015, or will finish their studies in August 2015. Award-winning writer and MacArthur Fellowship winner Edwidge Danticat will be the featured speaker, along with an undergraduate and graduate student.

  • Summer Programs

    It's time to start thinking about summer! UIndy will offer a variety of classes and programs during Summer 2015, including:
    —More than 200 undergraduate courses, so students can stay on track in their programs and take classes close to home during the summer break.
    —A variety of enrichment and sports camps for kids ranging from elementary to high school.

  • Homecoming

    Join UIndy's great traditions like the parade down Hanna Avenue, Tailgate Town activities before the football game, a Founder’s Day Celebration, the President’s Lunch, and the Hounds Hustle 5K Fun Run. This year you can participate in the grand reopening of the Krannert Memorial Library after the summer renovations are completed and be able to take tours of the new UIndy Health Pavilion.

Mendy Werne graduated from the UIndy Communication Department in 2000, with a concentration in Public Relations. After working for Ditto Public Relations, Mendy co-founded Blast Media, an agency that assists clients by generating national and trad coverage and utilizing social media tools.
UIndy alum Steve Herriford '87 has been selected as the university's new Associate Vice President of Information Systmes and Instructional Technology Services.
The central Indiana running community is mourning the loss of Tom Hathaway '54, the UIndy student-athlete who went on to become a marathoner, a mentor to many running enthusiasts and a championship cross country coach at the high school and college levels.
After an extensive national search, Georgetown University Associate Provost and Dean Robert L. Manuel has been selected to serve as the ninth president of the University of Indianapolis.
