Portico

Portico is the quarterly magazine of the University of Indianapolis. It serves as a gateway to understanding; a colonnade from which to gain a clearer perspective of the University of Indianapolis. It is mailed to alumni, parents and families of enrolled students, second-semester seniors, and friends of the University.

Christel DeHaan steps down as board chair One of the world's most prominent business leaders and philanthropists, DeHaan has led the UIndy trustees for more than 10 years, and her leadership has helped put UIndy on the map.

Saving the world, inch by inch Lydia Fisher and Lyndsay McBride joined a UIndy trip to Liberia to help build a school. When they reutrned, they launched a local foundation.

UIndy tapped for national teacher recruitment initiative UIndy is the only private school, and one of four institutions in the state, chosen to launch the national Woodrow Wilson fellowship program.

Zupancic clears path for Colts This alumnus and UIndy trustee is senior VP of sales and marketing for Indy's NFL franchise, and negotiations have kicked into high gear, thanks to the new Lucas Oil Stadium.
