For print orders, please call the Office of Alumni Relations at (317) 788-3295 or purchase prints online in the Events and Registration section of Alumni Central. A portion of the proceeds from print sales will support the class of 1960’s class gift.

 

Affinity Programs and Services

Alumni Travel Program

Do you like to visit other countries, try new food and experience different cultures? The Alumni Association provides opportunities to travel with friends and fellow grads annually with discounted trips to wonderful destinations. Check out the next trip scheduled for next fall.

Alumni Education Program

The University offers its graduates the opportunity to enroll in free undergraduate courses through its Alumni Education Program. As published in the 2005-06 Academic Handbook, "Alumni who have earned a baccalaureate or master's degrees at the university may attend, without charge, most undergraduate classes, except art studio classes, computer classes, private applied music lessons, and workshops, under the following guidelines: (1) the instructor must grant approval, and (2) space in the class must be available. No credit will be awarded nor attendance recorded for alumni participating in this program. Interested alumni must contact the The Office of the Registrar (317) 788-3219 at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. A $25 administrative fee is assessed for each course registration.

Ruth Lilly Fitness Center Passes

Alumni are able to purchase individual or family memberships to the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center at reduced membership rates. Contact the University of Indianapolis Athletic Department at ddrumm@uindy.edu or (317) 788-3246 for more information or inquire at the registration desk at the facility. Don't forget to identify yourself as an alumnus/a of the university to receive the discount rate.

Campus Library Card

University of Indianapolis Alumni can obtain a library card, valid for one year from the date of issue, for borrowing privileges at Krannert Memorial Library on campus. To obtain your card, you must first sign a library card consent form. Cards are issued through the Office of Alumni Relations. Contact alumni@uindy.edu at (317) 788-3295 for more information. To obtain information about the library's services and hours, visit the Krannert Memorial Library website.

Notary Service

Free notary services are available to alumni in the Office of Alumni Relations. Call ahead at (317) 788-3295 to be sure that staff is available to provide this service for you.

Transcripts

An official copy of your academic work can be obtained upon your written approval through the Office of the Registrar. The University will not process a transcript request by phone or email. The Office of the Registrar is located in Esch Hall Room 107, 1400 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227; (317) 788-3219, or 1-800-232-8634. Please visit the Registrar's Office website to obtain downloadable request forms to mail or fax, hours of operation and fees.

Legacy Scholarship for University of Indianapolis Alumni Children & Grandchildren

Do you have a high school-age child or grandchild? If so help your family member become a future University of Indianapolis student. A $1,500 Legacy Scholarship is available for incoming freshmen enrolling each fall.

Legacy Scholarship criteria are:

• Any full-time freshmen undergraduate student whose parents or grandparents have obtained an undergraduate or graduate degree from the University of Indianapolis.
• Completion of a separate application.
• Scholarship, awarded on a rolling basis, requires a 2.0 GPA for renewal for up to four undergraduate years.
• Award can be stacked with other university scholarships and grants.
